Spanish Language Learning Opportunities at Local Vinton Businesses
On the first and third Saturday morning of each month, local community
members Jordan (Jo) and Joaquin Carter host the Spanish Conversation Club at downtown
Vinton businesses The Niche and Brickside Brew-N-Chew. The club meets from 9 to 11 A.M.
and welcomes all ages and levels of learners from beginners to native speakers. There is no
cost to attend.
Plarn Making with Judy Herring - July 19

Community VBS invites children to True North: Trusting Jesus in a Wild World
A summer kids’ event called True North will be hosted at the Vinton Presbyterian Church, 608 First Avenue, Vinton, in partnership with Wesley United Methodist Church and Bethlehem Lutheran Church from Sunday, July 20, 2025 to Thursday, July 24, 2025. The evening will begin at 5:30 pm with a light supper for participants and will conclude at 8 pm. All youth completing 4-year preschool through completion of 4th grade. Discover Local Talent at Dysart Chamber of Commerce's Maker’s Market on Main
Join us this Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM for the Dysart Chamber's Maker’s Market on Main, a celebration of local makers, artists, and small businesses, right in the heart of downtown Dysart. Formerly known as Back Roads Vintage Market, this annual event continues to grow while showcasing the best of our creative community.Main Street will be filled with booths featuring handmade goods, home décor, clothing, baked treats, jewelry, plants, and more.
Community Quilt Fundraiser at the Vinton Public Library
Our library is holding a silent auction to raise funds for our adult programming. Thanks to the help of Cheryl and Donna, our quilt is now complete! Over a dozen local quilters submitted blocks and we are so pleased with the results.
